HAVE YOU RECEIVED YOUR PERSONAL TRUTH?

We receive the truth, not so much as invent it. Fire was discovered, no one invented it. No one invented fruit trees, they were discovered as a source of food. Horses were discovered as useful to ride over long distances. The laws of physics have always been with us, waiting for someone to find them.
In searching for your own personal truth, you will need to see that all things are connected. We are biologically connected to the earth, and chemically to the rest of the universe, atomically. Everything, all things, have a common origin. To see that everything connects to everything else, we have to learn to see.
Two thousand years ago, a discovery by a Galilean man made an immeasurable difference for human life. Jesus discovered insights into human nature. He discovered the key to the best kind of human living. The best kind of qualities of human beings are found in the Beatitudes. The Gospel of Matthew has presented all these qualities into one sermon, the Sermon on the Mount. The person who lives in accordance with all of these characteristics is the best possible human being.
